The adhesive for ARTY PF-board(KS F 4716) is a base paint material that is use in sites that require elasticity, construction, and durability due to excellent adhesion and penetration on the insulating PF-board surface.
Usage
(KSF4716) As a basis coating material of a building,
- Application for attaching EPS, PF, urethane foam, etc. and for mid-mash impregnation plastering application for exterior wall insulation construction
- Use for pretreatment concrete surfaces, mortar surfaces, and repairing slab floors etc
Properties
- Main ingredients: special acrylic co-polymer, filler
- Mixing ratio: Adhesive for PF board : Cement = 1:1
- Color: Light White
- pH : 8 ~ 9
- Solid content (%): 65 ± 1%
- Viscosity (cps): 30,000 ± 11,000
- Theoretical Quantity For Application: 2.5–4 kg/㎡ (Criterion for external insulation application)
- Pot Life: Within 1 hour after cement mixing (added or subtracted depending on site conditions)
- Drying time (dry hard): 12 hours in summer, 24 hours in winter
- Shelf life: 12 months (Unopened indoor storage)
- Packing unit: 22 kg / Plastic Pail
Application Method
■ External wall insulation construction method
- Completely remove any foreign substances such as rust, dust, moisture, and oil on the surface and apply primer.
- Adhere the PF board closely to the concrete wall using Adhesive for PF board.
- After drying, add a mesh to the top of the adhered PF board and plaster it with a mixed adhesive.
- After drying, construct with plaster or various Arty Exterior wall Finish Coats.
■ Cement Board Mesh construction method
- Completely remove any foreign substances such as rust, dust, moisture, and oil on the surface and apply primer.
- Adhere to a joint mesh on the wall finished with a cement board using an Adhesive for PF board.
- After drying, add a mesh to the top of the adhered PF board and plaster it with a mixed adhesive.
- After drying, construct with plaster or various Arty Exterior wall Finish Coats.
Precautions
- During construction, the temperature should be at least 0°C and should be sufficiently dried. If it is not dried enough, the adhesion decreases, and the appears black due to a valleys occur in the finishing coat construction.
- When blending, sufficient mixing must be performed, and excessive cement mixing can cause poor adhesion or cracking.
- Mortar Adhesives mixed with cement should be used quickly. The mortar adhesive that remains after mixing with cement will harden quickly and should be discarded.
- The product should not be exposed to rain before and after work.
- Do not freeze the product, keep it indoors (storage temperature 5~35℃) avoiding fire and direct sunlight, and store it unopened facing the top. Store the remaining product after use without cement mixing in the same way.
